Toshizou Hijikata: "Phew... I think this is all I need to get the syllabus for the new term approved."
Keisuke Sannan: "Thank you for your hard work, Hijikata-sensei. There is only a little left to do now. At this rate, it seems that you will not have to spend your New Year's in the staff room, after all."
Toshizou Hijikata: "That's one horrifying thought....So? How about you, Sannan-san?"
Keisuke Sannan: "I am nearly done, as well. It seems that I will not have to carry this year's workload into the next."
Toshizou Hijikata: "That's the most important thing. We wouldn’t be laughing if we were forced to come to school during the New Year's holiday."
Keisuke Sannan: "I see. You'll be returning to your family home, then."
Toshizou Hijikata: "...No, there's no way I'm doing that."
Keisuke Sannan: "...Is that so? By the way, Hijikata-sensei. Do you have plans for your New Year's shrine visit?"
Toshizou Hijikata: "W-Well... Yeah, kind of. I have plans, more or less."
Keisuke Sannan: "How diligent of you. I personally don't care much for prayers, but… this time, I think I will pray for the health of our students."
Toshizou Hijikata: "Guess I'll pray for their academic achievement, then. The third-years're taking their entrance exams soon."
Keisuke Sannan: "Hehe. It seems that both you and I are more worried for the students than for ourselves. It seems that we have both become true teachers, down to our very bones."
Toshizou Hijikata: "Yeah, I guess. In this line of work, her fa―...their faces often come to mind."
Keisuke Sannan: "...Good grief. If you were this honest in front of the students, they wouldn't call you the Demon Vice-Principal. More importantly, who are you visiting the shrine with?"
