Isami Kondou: "Phew, I think the windows are clean now… Yep. Seeing the shine of a window you cleaned yourself truly is a wonderful feeling!"

Hajime Saitou: "...My apologies, sir. Because we were unskilled in our cleaning, we have forced the school principal himself to take matters into his own hands."

Isami Kondou: "That’s not it, Saitou. It doesn't matter if you're good or bad at cleaning. I may be the school principal, but I'm also a member of this academy. So when a school-wide event like spring cleaning rolls around, there's no reason I shouldn't participate."

Hajime Saitou: "Mr. Kondou..."

Isami Kondou: "...No, well, I may have said something all grand and philosophical-sounding, but it's really not that big a deal. Back at Shiei Hall, it was just expected that people would clean up after themselves. It's a habit from those days; I get restless just doing nothing."

Hajime Saitou: "...Even so, I feel humbled. I think we students are lucky to be able to study under such teachers, and such a principal."

Isami Kondou: "Of course I'm happy to hear you say that, but I'm grateful to you guys as well."

Hajime Saitou: "What do you mean?"

Isami Kondou: "Take the Christmas party the other day, for example. I was just standing around doing nothing, feeling sorry for myself, but… You and Yukimura helped decorate the venue, right? I had already given up on making the event a success, but you two didn't.  I really do think that's admirable. So, I plan to work hard on this spring cleaning, too!"

Isami Kondou: "Well then, Saitou! I'll leave things here to you. I'm going to move on to the next classroom!"

Hajime Saitou: [to himself] "......Kondou-sensei… You should really be praising her, not me.  She's the one who was so determined to help Ibuki. If she hadn't invited me to, I may not have known anything about it."

Hajime Saitou: "Haah... Maybe meeting her was the best thing to happen this year..."
